Practice managers self-enter the days that holiday/ sickness/ maternity cover is required into a single Google Calendar for locum doctors to review.
How does it work?
- Contact highlandlocums@gmail.com and provide your email address which will be added to the list of addresses that can access the highlandlocums Google Calendar.
- You will receive an 'invitation to join' auto-email from Google Calendar when this email address has been added to the shared calendar. This might take a day or two.
- You can then add your locum requirements into the calendar for consideration by potential locum doctors, who have also subscribed to the calendar. The title of the entry should only have the locum location, eg Inverness, Dingwall, Nairn, etc. The description in the entry should be the filled out template, copied and pasted from the dummy entry found in the 1st January.
GPs must satisfy for themselves of the qualifications and suitability of any locum applicant
